About the Owner
Phillip Schulte spent his younger years as a paratrooper in the United States Army. After his military service he attended college and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology. He then worked as a cell-biologist for large biotech company (Amgen, Inc.) for 16-years. Amgen closed down their Colorado facility which resulted in the lay-offs of thousands of people. Phil decided to reinvent himself and move to his favorite state (Tennessee - where the land is beautiful and the people are kind). Phil created TriStar Sun Home Inspections, LLC to help people make informed decisions regarding home buying.

About the Company's Name
The TriStar in the name is to remind Phil of the beautiful state he lives in and the great people he works for in Tennessee. The Sun in the name is to remind Phil to shed light on all deficiencies and provide warmth and kindness to those he serves.
The Owner's Beliefs
Phil believes home inspecting requires both a keen eye and a sharp mind (just like people, no two homes are alike). He believes the best inspectors are the ones with the most passion for what they do. They also need to be committed to constant growth and learning within their field.

The Owner's Family and Purpose
Phil is a father of three loving children and is married to his college sweetheart who currently works as an R.N. He loves inspecting homes and helping people by giving them the knowledge to make informed decisions.
